Blue Capital Global Reinsurance Fund Limited – Update on Merger
Hamilton, Bermuda – 04 August, 2015 – In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”), Blue Capital Global Reinsurance Fund Limited (the "Company" or "BCGR"; BSX Ticker: BCGR.BH) today announced that on 31 July 2015, Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. (“Endurance”) completed its acquisition (the “Merger”) of Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd (“Montpelier”). Upon closing the Merger, Endurance became the ultimate parent holding company of Blue Capital Management Ltd., Investment Manager to Blue Capital Global Reinsurance Fund Limited. Through its ownership of Montpelier, Endurance indirectly holds 25.1% of the ordinary shares of the company.
