Clear TV LTD. : SHARE REPURCHASES AS A RESULT OF FRANKFURT LISTING
Hamilton, Bermuda: 04 August 2015 – In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”), Clear TV Ltd., (the “Company” or “CTV”; Ticker: CTV.BH) announced the repurchase by the Company of 111,632 Ordinary Shares. The filing stated:
Due to the continued success of CTV’s secondary listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (symbol “CLTV:DE” & “CLTV:F”), its arrangements with its authorised sponsor/broker in Frankfurt, Renell Bank (“Renell”) have resulted in the aggregate repurchase by the Company of 111,632 Ordinary Shares into treasury since trading in Frankfurt commenced in September 2014.
In accordance with the rules and regulations of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Renell settles trades in Ordinary Shares on behalf of the Company, and is required by local regulation to maintain a neutral account, such neutrality being effected by passing on any positive shareholdings to the Company. These arrangements have resulted in a small repurchase by the Company of Common Shares into treasury, as noted above.
The issued share capital of the Company was 24,288,174 Ordinary Shares, with no Ordinary Shares held in treasury as of December 31, 2014.
