PartnerRe Appoints Chairatch Phrompechrut as Head of Strategic Ventures

Hamilton, Bermuda – 25 January, 2015 – In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange, PartnerRe Ltd. (Ticker: PRE.BH) announced the appointment Chairatch Phrompechrut as Head of Strategic Ventures.  The filing stated:

PartnerRe Ltd. (NYSE:PRE) today announced that Chairatch Phrompechrut has been appointed to the position of Head of Strategic Ventures. Mr. Phrompechrut will report to Marvin Pestcoe, CEO Life, Health and Strategic Ventures. In this position, Mr. Phrompechrut will lead the effort to pursue investments in business development opportunities and partnerships.

Mr. Phrompechrut joined PartnerRe in 2008 and has held several positions in the company’s investment function, most recently as Head of Private Equity.

Commenting on Mr Phrompechrut’s appointment, Mr. Pestcoe said, “I am very pleased to appoint Chai to Head of Strategic Ventures. I am confident that under Chai’s leadership the Strategic Ventures group will be successful in giving PartnerRe access to new attractive business opportunities.”
