CARIBBEAN INVESTMENT HOLDINGS LIMITED

Hamilton, Bermuda: 12 April 2016 - In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”), Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited (London – AIM:  CIHL; Bermuda – CIHL) (the “Company” or “BCBHL”) issued the following statement.  The filing stated:

Belize City, Belize, April 11, 2016 -- Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited

(CIHL)

Earlier this month, the Washington-based International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), published a large-scale leak of confidential information, which it is alleged originated from the Panamanian law firm of Mossack Fonseca. This information has become known as the “Panama Papers”.

The ICIJ suggested initially that amongst the “Panama Papers” were documents

indicating the involvement of a number of subsidiary companies of CIHL. This is

not true, a fact which has now been recognized by ICIJ, which has removed those

references from its website.

CIHL would like to make the following completely clear:

• CIHL's subsidiary, Belize Corporate Services Limited (BCS) has never used

Mossack Fonseca to provide shell corporations for its clients.

• CIHL's subsidiary, The Belize Bank Limited, did not establish any company for

Jurgen Mossack, Ramón Fonseca and Christopher Zollinger. Specifically, it did

not establish M.F. & Co. (Belize) Limited.

• BCS has never cooperated with M.F. & Co. (Belize) Limited in creating

companies and acting as registered agents.

• The Belize Bank Limited, Belize Bank International Limited, Belize Corporate

Services Limited and Lord Ashcroft deny that they have in some way partnered

or have done business with the Panamanian law firm, Mossack Fonseca.

All concerned should be aware of these facts, and of the damaging implications of

the spread of misinformation, within the financial services industry as a whole

and especially within the financial communities of which we are all a part.
