BSX Suspends Trading in NTB’s Ordinary Shares at the Request of the Bank
Hamilton-Thursday, 15 September, 2016: The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) has suspended trading in the Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited’s (the Bank’s) Ordinary Shares at the request of the Bank pending the expected opening of trading in the Bank’s Ordinary Shares on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
The purpose of the suspension is to facilitate the orderly opening of trading in the Ordinary Shares on the BSX on Friday, 16 September, 2016 concurrently with the opening of trading in the Ordinary Shares on the NYSE.
The BSX has been advised by the Bank that the Bank expects to be in a position to request the trading suspension be lifted by the BSX by 11:30 hrs ADT on Friday, 16 September, 2016.
