Hamilton, Bermuda – June 2, 2017 – In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”), Blue Capital Alternative Income Fund Limited (the "Company", Ticker: BCAI.BH) announced a transaction in own shares. The full filing stated:

TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Company announces that on 1 June 2017 it purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of US$0.00001 each in the capital of the Company (the “Ordinary Shares”) at an average price per Ordinary Share of US $1.02 each under its share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 25 May 2017.  The highest price paid per Ordinary Share was $1.02 and the lowest price paid per Ordinary Share was $1.02. Each Ordinary Share repurchased will be held in treasury.

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 100,000 Ordinary Shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of $1.02 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has:

178,598,523 Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)

100,000 Ordinary Shares in treasury

178,698,523 Ordinary Shares in issue (including treasury shares)

All shareholders have equal voting rights based on the number of Shares held. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 178,598,523 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
