BAS Group Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Hamilton, Bermuda – 2 April 2018 - In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (“BSX”), Bermuda Aviation Services Limited (the “Group” or “BAS”; Ticker: BAS.BH) announces the appointment of Ms. Leslie Rans as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2018. The full filing stated:

BAS Group Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

(Hamilton, Bermuda, April 2, 2018) – Bermuda Aviation Services Limited (“BAS”) today announces the appointment of Ms. Leslie Rans as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2018.

Ms. Rans has been acting as Special Advisor to the Executive Chairman of the BAS Group since October 2017.  

Ms. Rans brings with her over 20 years of financial and operational leadership experience. In her last role, as Chief Financial Officer for One Communications Ltd., she had financial oversight for multiple operating units in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. She also provided operational and strategic management, M&A leadership, regulatory and stock exchange compliance, as well as mentoring and succession planning.

Ms. Rans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with High Honours from the Florida Institute of Technology and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has previously served as a Commissioner on the Energy Commission, and as a Director for Quo Vadis Limited and Bermuda Digital Communications Limited.
