BSX Sponsors New Investors' Radio Talk show on ZFB

Hamilton, Bermuda 24, June 1997. The Bermuda Stock Exchange (The BSX) is pleased to announce that it has agreed to sponsor the launch of a new Investors' Radio Talk Show on ZFB 1230 Radio. The radio show will be aimed at helping to educate listeners about investing in securities, trading on The BSX and how to "own a share of Bermuda"®.

The talk show will be presented by veteran broadcaster Mr Fredrick Hassell and co-host Mr Walton Brown. Fred Hassell is the inimitable co-host of the highly successful "Sixty-something" show which is aired weekly on ZFB. Fred and Walton will be inviting guests to join them to explore the world of stocks and shares, saving for retirement and how to invest in mutual funds and local companies listed on The BSX. The show will initially be on air live at 12:10 p.m. every Tuesday for one hour, starting on 1 July 1997. It is currently anticipated that the show will be taped and repeated on another week-day evening. The show will carry advertising and feature contemporary musical intermissions.

The BSX was established in 1971 and is now the world's premiere offshore electronic securities market. A total of 115 equities, bonds, Mutual Funds and warrants are listed on The BSX with a total market capitalization in excess of $37 billion. Sponsoring this informative Radio Talk Show forms part of The BSX's commitment to increasing awareness about our local Stock Exchange and enhancing the domestic market.
