New GM for International Trust Company of Bermuda

Bermuda Commercial Bank (BCB) announced today that Tony Keywood is appointed General Manager of its wholly owned subsidiary, International Trust Company of Bermuda Limited (ITCOB).

ITCOB, founded in 1970, provides trust services to the international marketplace. In recent years, ITCOB has been particularly active in bringing commercial trust business into the bank. Commercial trust settlors are attracted to Bermuda because its legal system incorporates many provisions of English trust laws and also because of the availability in Bermuda of substantial law firms and accountancy practices. ITCOB works closely with these Bermuda service providers to tailor trust products to clients' specific needs. ITCOB distinguishes itself also through its competitive fee structure, by its advanced computer database used for client record keeping and by its policy of dispassionate investment advice to its clients.

"Tony Keywood has been with BCB since 1996, as Trust Manager in ITCOB, and more recently as acting General Manager," said Peter Roberts, Managing Director of BCB and ITCOB. "We are pleased to see this promotion from within, particularly as it helps encourage the continuity of our relationships with clients."

Tony Keywood has been in trust work since 1985 when he joined Cooper & Lybrand in his native Jersey. Before joining Bermuda Commercial Bank, Tony worked as a Senior Trust Officer at Bermuda Trust Company.
