BSX Approves Listing The Asia Opportunities Fund Limited.
The Fund is incorporated in Bermuda and is structured as an open-ended fund.
The investment objective of the fund is to provide its Shareholders with long-term capital growth through a portfolio of mainly unquoted equities and direct investments in Asia, with a particular focus on properties and trading companies.
The investment strategy of the Fund will be to achieve long-term capital growth through a portfolio of assets, primarily consisting of investments in the Philippines, Thailand, China, Indonesia and Malaysia. Investments will also be considered elsewhere in Asia. Investments will focus on property and property related stocks and on trading companies in any sector which the Manager feels will offer good growth potential. The majority of the assets are expected to be held in direct property investments and/or unquoted shares.
The listing of The Asia Opportunities Fund Limited Ordinary Voting Shares is sponsored by Bermuda International Securities Ltd., (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank of Bermuda, Hamilton, Bermuda). The securities are being listed under the regulations for Collective Investment Schemes.
