HAMILTON, BERMUDA, September 10, 1999 -- XL Capital Ltd (NYSE: XL) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.44 per share payable on the Company's Ordinary Shares. The dividend will be payable on October 8, 1999 to shareholders of record on September 24, 1999.
