BSX Announces Trading In the Common Shares of BF&M To Resume

Hamilton, Bermuda, December 16, 1999 - The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) was advised by BF&M (the Company) that the litigation against the Company was dismissed by the Courts earlier today.

As a result of this dismissal and at the request of the Company the Exchange has lifted the suspension of the Company's Common Shares. Trading in the Common Shares of BF&M will therefore resume on the BSX at 9am tomorrow, Friday, 17th December 1999.
