Hamilton, Bermuda: 22 Decemeber 1999 - The Board of Directors of China Heartland Fund Limited (the "Fund") wish to announce that, as a result of market holidays in China and Scotland, there will be no NAV calculated for the above Fund on Thursday 23rd December 1999.
The next and last valuation day of 1999 will therefore be Thursday, 30th December 1999.
