Brooke Securities (Bermuda) Ltd. (BSL) is a fully owned subsidiary of Brooke Securities Inc., a Delaware corporation and member of NASD.
In making the announcement, BSX COO Greg Wojciechowski stated, "We are delighted to welcome Brooke Securities (Bermuda) Ltd. to the Bermuda Stock Exchange. Initially, BSL will provide sponsorship services to its clients and affiliates. Eventually BSL will develop a trading platform for the negotiation and execution of specific securities transactions in blocks of securities not readily marketable due to their illiquidity."
According to Oskar P. Lewnowski, Chairman of BSL, "we at Brooke Securities are pleased to be joining the BSX and share in its growing success. By introducing securities transactions of hereto unlisted securities to the BSX, we seek to deepen the range of the Exchange's array of product offerings."
Brooke Securities (Bermuda) Ltd. brings to 16 the total number of Trading Members currently registered on the Exchange. As a Trading Member BSL may, in addition to their trading privileges, sponsor all forms of application to list on the BSX.
