In making the announcement, BSX COO Greg Wojciechowski stated, "We are delighted to welcome Continental Sponsors Limited to the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The principles of the Company are well known to the Exchange and the Bermuda business community as a whole and we firmly believe that this alliance will further strengthen and enhance our respective lines of business."
The Exchange understands that CSL plans to provide listing sponsor services to their clients, including several fund products, in the coming months.
In response to the announcement CSL Vice-President Dudley R. Cottingham stated, "Continental Sponsors are pleased to have received approval to become Listing Sponsors on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. We believe that our membership will be an asset to those of our clients wishing to list on the BSX in the future."
A BSX Listing Sponsor Continental Sponsors Ltd. has the ability to sponsor applications for new listings of mutual funds, fixed income, depository receipts, and secondary listings. CSL joins Harbour Financial Services Ltd., Quorum Sponsors Limited and Reid Services Ltd, bringing the current number of BSX Listing Sponsors to four.
