EarthPort.com PLC Appoints New Non-Exceutive Director

Hamilton, Bermuda: 1 March, 2000- EarthPort.com plc has appointed Lyle Procter as a non-executive Director. Procter (59) was the Reserve Bank of Australia's Head of Financial Systems from 1991-95.

During his career with the Reserve Bank Procter held the posts of Chief Representative in Europe (1988-1991) and Chief Representative in North America (1995-1998).

Procter has also held several high profile posts including Chairman of the Australian Payments Clearing Association and Director of Australian Banking Industry Ombudsman Limited.

Since retiring from the Reserve Bank in 1998, Procter has been retained as a consultant to the International Monetary Fund, and the banking industry in Australia. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance and a Freeman of the City of London.

EarthPort.com plc plans to recruit two further non-executive directors in the near future.
