EarthPort.com Announces Board Changes

Hamilton, Bermuda: 17 May, 2000 - In accordance with the stated aims of the company EarthPort.com plc has appointed Philip F Lynch CBE as an independent non-executive director.

Mr Lynch joined Exchange Clearing House (ECHO) as Chief Executive in June 1996. In December 1997, ECHO was acquired by CLS Services Ltd. Mr Lynch served as Chief Operating Officer until March 1999. More recently he was Director of Shareholder Affairs, and was a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

Mr Lynch previously worked for Lehman Brothers as Managing Director. He held various management positions in New York, before moving to London in 1977 to become Branch Manager, Senior Vice President and latterly Managing Director.

He was also Chairman of International Petroleum Exchange (non-executive), 1989 - 1995, the first US citizen to chair an exchange in the City of London. He was a Director of International Petroleum Exchange, 1985 - 1995. In addition he was Chairman of UK Chapter of the Futures Industry Association (non-executive), 1984 - 1986.

He was elected to the board of the Association of Futures Brokers and Dealers from 1987 to 1989, became Director of the Securities and Futures Authority (SFA) after merger of AFBD and TSA in 1989 and was re-elected in an industry wide contest by a huge majority in 1992.

He was a Member of SFA Executive Committee serving as Deputy Chairman of Enforcement Committee and Chairman of the Conduct of Business Committee responsible for interpreting the consequence of critical European directives. He was Director of Investors Compensation Scheme U.K. from 1988 to 1989.

He was appointed Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE)

In March 1997 in recognition of outstanding service which he rendered to the United Kingdom.

Andrew Millard has resigned as a director of EarthPort.com plc to pursue other interests in the light of the company's stated intention to sell all or part of Zabadoo.com Ltd.
