101010 CEO Moves To EarthPort

Hamilton, Bermuda: 20 July 2000 - EarthPort, the secure Internet payment system provider, today announced that Lars Ljungwaldh, CEO of 101010 Ltd, the e-business solutions company acquired by EarthPort earlier this year, has joined the EarthPort board as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), responsible for expanding EarthPort's technical capabilities.

As partner and CTO of Equisoft, the decision support systems provider for financial markets, Ljungwaldh helped develop and roll out the Reuters 3000 series of applications, working on the Armstrong Data warehouse project. Ljungwaldh left Equisoft to build 101010 Ltd to concentrate on delivering large-scale business automation tools for banks.

With over 15 years' experience of financial markets software systems, Ljungwaldh began his stock broker career at Skandiavian Enskilda Bank before joining Pearson & Co to help build their derivatives business and sales of risk hedging vehicles. As a specialist in sales of derivatives systems in European financial markets, Ljungwaldh joined Pont Data (Bridge International) where as Technical Director he was responsible for operations in Sydney, London and New York.

Ljungwaldh's experience of building software systems for financial markets makes him the ideal candidate to drive the technology behind EarthPort's Internet payment system forward.
