BSX Approves Listing of Seven Additional Fleming Funds Sub-Funds

Hamilton, Bermuda: 27 July, 2000 - The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) has today announced the approval of the listing of shares for a further seven Fleming Funds sub-funds: FF - Fleming European Technology Fund, FF - Fleming European Strategic Value Fund, FF - Fleming European Strategic Growth Fund, FF - Fleming Global Life Sciences Fund, FF - Fleming German Opportunities Fund, FF - Fleming Global Smaller Companies Fund, FF - Fleming Pacific Technology Fund.

The sub-funds are structured as open-ended entities and form part of the Fleming Funds umbrella. The umbrella Fund is incorporated in Luxembourg and has a primary listing on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

While forming part of the Fleming Funds umbrella, each sub-fund is linked to a separate portfolio of assets and liabilities and each has a specific investment objective.

The Investment Managers for the Fleming Funds are Fleming Investment Management Limited (London) and Robert Fleming Inc. (New York).

The listing of the seven Fleming Funds sub-funds is sponsored by Butterfield Securities (Bermuda) Ltd.
