Hamilton, Bermuda: 7 August 2000 - The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) was today advised by the Bank of Butterfield that in July 2000 the Bank or its subsidiaries acquired a further 56,501 of its own shares under the share repurchase programme announced January 5, 2000.
