ACE Limited Declares Quarterly Dividend

Hamilton, Bermuda: 21 August 2000 - The Board of Directors of ACE Limited (NYSE: ACL, BSX: ACL.BH) today declared a quarterly dividend of 13 cents per ordinary share, payable on October 13, 2000 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 29, 2000.
