Hamilton, Bermuda: 11 October 2000 - The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) was today advised by the Bank of Butterfield that in September 2000 the Bank or its subsidiaries acquired a further 53,851 of its own shares under the share repurchase programme announced January 5, 2000.
