HAMILTON, BERMUDA, 3 November 2000 -- XL Capital Ltd (NYSE: XL) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share payable on the Company's Ordinary Shares. The dividend will be payable on November 30, 2000 to shareholders of record on November 15, 2000.
