W.P. Stewart Declares Quarterly Dividend And Will Report First Quarter Results

Hamilton, Bermuda: 11 April 2001 - W.P. Stewart & Co., Ltd. (NYSE: WPL, BSX:WPS.BH) announced today that it has declared a regular quarterly dividend of US$0.30 per common share. The dividend is payable on 30th April 2001 to shareholders of record as of 20th April 2001.

The Company also advised that it will report results for the first quarter

of 2001 on 23rd April 2001.
