Hamilton, Bermuda, April 23, 2001 - Island Press Holdings Limited, publisher of the Bermuda Sun, has appointed three new board directors following the Company's annual general meeting on March 21.
The three appointments are Warren Brown Sr., Walton Brown Jr. and Kenneth DeFontes. Max Quin stepped down from the board.
Mr. Brown Sr. has previously served on the board and is a past chairman. He is one of the founders of the Company.
Walton Brown is a political commentator and owner of Research Innovations Limited. Mr. DeFontes is president of DeFontes Television Centre.
The other board members are Gary Taylor, David Dodwell, Gilbert Darrell, Dennis Tucker and chairman Randy French.
