Hamilton, Bermuda: 12 June, 2001- The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) today announced that the Listing Committee of the BSX has cancelled the listing of the Euro Capital Markets (Series A) Trust - 9% Asset Backed Certificates pursuant to the BSX Listing Regulations, Section I, Chapter 2, Regulations 2.24 (1), (3) and (4). The cancellation of the listing is with immediate effect.
The specific reasons for the cancellation of the listing are that the issuer has persistently failed to pay its BSX annual listing fees, that the issuer does not have a sufficient level of operations and assets to warrant its continued listing and that the issuer failed to disclose material information to the BSX in its listing application.
