ACE Limited Declares Quarterly Dividend

Hamilton, Bermuda: 10 Aug. 2001--The Board of Directors of ACE Limited (NYSE:ACE, BSX:ACL.BH) today declared a quarterly dividend of 15 cents per ordinary share, payable on October 12, 2001

to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 28, 2001.
