PEMBROKE, BERMUDA: June 13, 2002 - PartnerRe (NYSE: PRE) announced today that Judith Cooke has been appointed Group Internal Auditor.
Ms Cooke has joined the Company's Head Office financial team and will be responsible for identifying and assessing key business risks and evaluating internal processes and control structures of the company world-wide.
PartnerRe's Executive Vice President and CFO, Albert Benchimol, commented, "We are delighted to have Judith as part of our global financial team. She brings substantial experience to this position and we expect her to make a significant contribution to the implementation of industry best practices across our organization."
Ms. Cooke has ten years' experience in the insurance industry. A qualified chartered accountant, Ms. Cooke was most recently Assistant Vice President of Underwriting Administration at Centre Solutions.
