(NYSE:ACE, BSX:ACL.BH) announces that John A. Krol has been appointed to its Board of Directors effective immediately.
John Krol is the former chairman and chief executive officer of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company (du Pont). He has worked at du Pont
in Wilmington, Delaware, from 1963 to 1999. His career at du Pontinvolved various positions of increasing responsibility including assignments in research, marketing, manufacturing and management of various businesses, as well as vice chairman.
John Krol received both a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts.
