Hamilton, BERMUDA (March 2, 1998) -- TeleBermuda is pleased to announce the appointment of Claude Bourque as Vice-President Product and Business Development. In this capacity, Mr. Bourque will assume day to day responsibility for TeleBermuda's service expansion and total customer satisfaction. Mr. Bourque brings a wealth of experience with particular emphasis on data and enhanced products. In addition, Mr. Bourque assumes the duties as spokesperson for the company from Ken Spurling.
Over the years, Mr. Spurling has made important contributions to the success of TeleBermuda, first in his capacity as a founding Board member and thereafter as an executive charged with acting as the Company's spokesperson to the Bermuda community and as a member of the management team with responsibilities for human resource and advertising administration. TeleBermuda was fortunate that he was willing to devote his time and energy to the launch of TeleBermuda and the introduction of competition in the Bermuda telecommunications market. His commitment to the success of both is sincerely appreciated by TeleBermuda.
