ICMOB provides Accounting, Nominee, Corporate Secretarial, Registrar and Transfer Agency services to the business community in Bermuda and overseas.
"Mr. Boivin is an asset to the Bank," said Peter Roberts, Managing Director of BCB and ICMOB. "We welcome his impressive experience in many areas of the financial services industry but we welcome him also for his energy, enthusiasm and leadership qualities."
Georges Boivin was called to the bar in 1987 and has worked as Legal Counsel to the Royal Bank of Canada and as Legal Counsel to the Canadian Payments Association. Earlier legal and Public Relations assignments were held in several branches of the Canadian Government and legal firms in various North American locations.
Mr. Roberts went on to note that, "Georges Boivin has recent experience in the drafting of regulations and rules on many aspects of Banking. He has been responsible for coordination of the Compliance Program of the Canadian Payments Association and has lectured banking law at the University of Ottawa. This background ideally suits Georges to participation in managing the evolution of BCB and its subsidiary ICMOB into a high-integrity, fee-driven, low-risk operation, focused on the Bermuda marketplace."
