To follow is a statement made by The Bank of Bermuda regarding the incorporation notice of Kirk Management Ltd.
To be attributed to David T. Smith, Senior Vice President, Corporate Trust, The Bank of Bermuda:
"Capital Managers Limited is part of the W. P. Stewart Group, an internationally recognised investment management firm. This Group has moved its business and operations headquarters from New York to Bermuda and the incorporation of Kirk Management Ltd. is part of a unigue joint venture between the Bank and W. P. Stewart.
"Part of the arrangement includes the purchase of commercial property for the sole use of the W. P. Stewart group.
We hope to be able to provide further details about the venture within a month."
