Bank of Bermuda Invests an Additional $7.8 Million in First Ecom.com

Hong Kong: 27 July, 2000 - First Ecom.com Inc. (NASDAQ: FECC, BSX: FECC.BH) a global provider of electronic payment processing solutions, today announced that the Bank of Bermuda has exercised warrants for an additional 1 million shares of First Ecom.com stock.

The US $7.8 million stock transaction was completed on July 26. This follows Bank of Bermuda's initial strategic investment of US $6.5 million with the purchase of 1 million First Ecom.com shares on November 26, 1999.
