Hamilton, Bermuda, 1st September 1998: The Bank of Butterfield is pleased to announce the appointment to its Board of Directors of Mr. Harry Wilken. Mr. Wilken is President of Jardine Matheson International Services Limited and has served in a number of posts worldwide with the Jardine Group since 1972.
Mr. Wilken's appointment fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Mr. Raymond Moore. Mr. Moore had served on the Board for ten years. Dr. King, Chairman thanked Mr. Moore for his dedicated service and wise counsel to the Board and its Committees, and wished him well in his retirement.
