Bermuda Attracts Leading Keynote Speakers to Its 2nd E-Commerce Conference

Hamilton, Bermuda: 26 June, 2000 - The Conference Committee of eCC Bermuda has today announced the keynote speakers for its international e-commerce conference to be held at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess from September 18-20, 2000.

Patty Seybold is one of the most highly respected consultants in the global computer industry and author of Customers.com that describes how to create a profitable business strategy for the Internet. Ms Seybold will draw on specific case studies to illustrate and outline the five steps any organisation must take to be successful at e-commerce.

Nick Jones, Senior Analyst at Jupiter Communications, a leading Internet consulting firm based in North America, will be looking at where the industry is today and what tomorrow will bring in terms of challenges and new opportunities. In his role at Jupiter Communications, Mr Jones provides financial services support to e-commerce clients and content strategies for European publishers and portal sites.

As Vice President of Business Development for Compaq NonStop â e-Business Solutions Division, Abbott Smith is responsible for developing and implementing customer-centric comprehensive business and technical solutions. Mr Smith will discuss how today's e-Commerce initiatives can achieve unimagined success focusing on how companies must be able to achieve previously inconceivable scalability.

Christof Ehrhat is Vice President Corporate Communications, Product Manager and Event Marketing of Bertlesman Online, the international Internet Media and Entertainment Shop. Mr Ehrhat has published several articles on the future of media and the social implications of the Internet revolution and it is this that he will focus on at eCC Bermuda.

All four keynotes will be supported over the two-day period with a raft of well-respected industry specialists drawn from across international business. These speakers will focus on three primary areas: financial services, end-to-end e-Commerce and eBusiness risks.
