On Friday, 23 February the BSX once again hosted an on-Island Series 7 examination and all four candidates who sat the exam achieved passing grades. The candidates were, Ryan Sommerville, G-Trade Services; David Davies, Independent Financial Services; Andrea Wisdom, Fidelity Investments and Jason Cook, LOM.
In making the announcement BSX COO Greg Wojciechowski stated, " We are naturally very pleased that these four professionals have achieved this important industry qualification. We realize that it took a great deal of commitment and personal sacrifice and we applaud their efforts and congratulate them on their achievement."
Mr. Wojciechowski went on to say, "The BSX is very committed to doing what it can to improve industry standards in Bermuda and we believe that our commitment to sponsoring and hosting the Series 7 exam is just one way we can achieve this objective."
The BSX plans to host the exam again in June and is now looking at ways to offer an on-going training course for Series 7 candidates.
