Hamilton, BERMUDA (15 July, 1998) -- The Listing Committee of The Bermuda Stock Exchange (The BSX) today announced the approval of the listing of up to 5,000,000 Shares made up of Series 1 Class A Shares and Series 2 Class A Shares of the Advantage (Bermuda) Fund Ltd.
The Advantage (Bermuda) Fund is an open end mutual fund company incorporated in Bermuda on May 4, 1998. The Fund's investment objective is to provide above average, medium and long-term capital growth. The Fund will invest primarily in convertible restricted securities with a floating rate conversion. The investments will typically be made in convertible securities of smaller, growing, publicly traded companies which are prepared to offer higher returns because of their more limited access to sources of new capital.
The Investment Manager, VMH Investment Manager Ltd., British Virgin Islands, will combine growth and value disciplines in seeking investments in companies with strong investment fundamentals that the Investment Manager believes may be purchased at significant discounts to their long-term intrinsic values. The Investment Manager will also seek to invest in companies with substantial trading activity in an attempt to ensure a reasonable level of liquidity for the Fund.
The listing of the Advantage (Bermuda) Fund Ltd. is sponsored by Voyager Financial Services Ltd., of Hamilton, Bermuda. The securities are being listed under the regulations for Collective Investment Schemes.
