IFH Peru Ltd. was incorporated in Bahamas on November 20th, 1997 and acts as the holding company of the Interbank Group. IFH Peru Ltd. co-ordinates the administration and policies of its subsidiaries, of which there are eight:: Interbank (a Peruvian commercial bank), Interbank Overseas Ltd. (a Bahamian based offshore bank), Porfin (a Peru based consumer finance company), Interseguro (a Peru based insurance company), Interinvest (a Peru based investment bank), Interfondos SAFM ( a Peru based mutual fund management company), Interfip SAB ( a Peru based security brokerage house), Interserv ( a Peru based credit and collection company), and Urbi Propiedades ( a Peru based real estate company).
The main assets of IFH Peru are Interbank and Interbank Overseas Limited. Interbank is the second largest bank in Peru. Its main business is to promote the development of commercial and productive activities in Peru. Interbank Overseas Limited focuses primarily on private banking, but is engaged in a variety of banking, financial and investing activities. The bulk of its activities are conducted in Peru with investments made in enterprises throughout Latin America.
Subsequent to its listing on the BSX, the Company also intends to apply for a further listing of the Class B Common Shares on the Lima Stock Exchange.
