BSX Approves Listing of Nordica Life (Bermuda) Ltd.

Hamilton, Bermuda, 2 February 2001 - The Listing Committee of The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) today announced the approval of the listing of up to 400,000 Series A Ordinary Shares of Nordica Life (Bermuda) Ltd.

The Company was incorporated under the laws of Bermuda on October 14, 1996 and is registered as a long-term insurer under the Insurance Act 1978.

Nordica provides single premium unit-linked life insurance policies primarily, but not exclusively, to clients in Europe. The principal target market, however, is high net worth individuals resident in Sweden. The policies have been developed to provide the policyholders with flexibility in the determination of their insurance needs, whether for retirement or for the financial security of the beneficiary of the policy in the event of death of the life insured.

The listing of the Series A Ordinary Shares of Nordica Life (Bermuda) Ltd is sponsored by Forum Securities Services Ltd.

The issue is being introduced for listing under the Restricted Marketing provisions of the Exchange and is for securities that are aimed at Qualified Investors, being individuals or institutions that invest either a minimum of $100,000 or otherwise meet one of the suitability tests defined by the Exchange.
