BSX Approves Listing of the Sargasso Sea Fund

Hamilton, BERMUDA (May 28,1998) The Listing Committee of The Bermuda Stock Exchange (The BSX) today announced the approval of the listing of up to 50,000,000 Class C Common Shares.

Sargasso Sea Fund is an open end investment company registered in the British Virgin Islands on January 26, 1998. The Fund's objective is to achieve capital appreciation.

The Fund is managed by Sheridan Investments Incorporated, of Chicago, Illinois, USA. Sheridan Investments were registered as a commodity trading advisor ("CTA")with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in February 1994 and are members in good standing of the National Futures Association.

The listing of the Sargasso Sea Fund Class C Shares is sponsored by First Bermuda Financial Services, of Hamilton, Bermuda. The issue is being introduced for listing under the restricted marketing provisions of The BSX, meaning that shares may only be distributed to Qualified Investors and may not be traded on the Exchange in lots with an initial vakue of less than U.S. $100,000.

The BSX welcomes this listing , which brings the total number of funds listed on the Exchange to 112," said Mr. James S. McKirdy, Listing Manager of The BSX.
