The Company was established in September 1998 under the laws of the State of Florida.
Safire is a development stage company organized to design, develop, manufacture and market a family of affordable general aviation turbofan jet aircraft (the Safire "S-26"). The aircraft are designed to have similar characteristics of comfort, range and speed as some existing six-seat turbofan jets, but will cost approximately ¼ the price of the most inexpensive turbofan jet flying today. The Safire S-26 is expected to fly in mid 2002 with Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA") certification one year later in mid 2003.
The issue is being introduced for listing on the Mezzanine Market of the Exchange which is for securities that are aimed at Qualified Investors, being individuals or institutions which invest either a minimum of $100,000 or otherwise meet one of the suitability tests defined by the Exchange.
