This comprehensive course, previously unavailable in Bermuda, is a must for any broker/dealer trainee planning to sit the Series 7 (General Securities Registration Representative) Exam.
The course places special emphasis on the most heavily tested areas of the exam, such as debt securities, options, investment companies, new issues, customer accounts, retirement plans, trading markets, analysis and industry regulations and includes four tests, each designed to simulate the €˜real' Series 7 exam.
The course will be led by Mr. Alvin D. Hall, President Cooperhall Press, Inc., a training and instructional design firm for the securities and futures industries, whose clients include major stock exchanges, regulatory authorities, brokerage firms, banks and information vendors to the financial markets.
Mr. Hall, nick named €˜The Professor of Wall Street', is a highly regarded investment expert.
Before establishing his own company, Mr. Hall served as executive director of the New York Institute of Finance (NYIF), where he remains a faculty member. As director of marketing for Longman Financial Services Institute (now Dearborn Financial Publishing), he was responsible for conducting the exam-preparation course for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and the National Futures Association (NFA) licensing examinations. Mr. Hall began his career in training on Wall Street almost 15 years ago as director of course development for Leo Fleur, Inc., a company that specializes in intensive examination preparation courses. He holds a M.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. from Bowdoin College, Maine.
Course fees (including text books) are: $1,000 for BSX Trading Members, $1,300 for Non-Trading Members. Corporate group rates are negotiable. Space is limited, so please book early to avoid dissappointment.
