BSX Lifts Suspension of Trading of Secondary Listed International Securities With U.S. Primary Listi

HAMILTON, Bermuda, 17 September 2001 - The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) has today lifted the suspension of trading of those International Securities with secondary listings on the BSX whose primary listing is on a U.S. securities market.

The securities that were affected included Tyco International Ltd., Mutual Risk management Ltd., XL Capital Ltd., Global Crossing Ltd., ACE Ltd., First Ecom.com Inc., TyCom Ltd. and W.P. Stewart Ltd.

The suspensions were initiated on Wednesday, 12 September 2001 in light of the events that occurred in the United States of America on 11 September 2001.
