BSX To Observe 3 Minutes Silence at 10:00 am (AST) Friday

Hamilton, Bermuda: 13 September, 2001- Following the announcement of a trading halt to be carried out by various European stock exchanges and other similar actions to be observed in Europe on Friday, the BSX will observe a three-minute period of silence and a simultaneous trading halt at 10:00am (AST), 9:00 am (EST), Friday, 14th September 2001, to express its sympathy and condolences to the victims of the tragic events that took place in the United States on Tuesday.

The BSX is asking its member firms to observe the silence and not trade during the 3 minute halt period.
