TeleBermuda International Limited respectfully requests that the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) temporarily suspend trading in Common shares of TeleBermuda from the close of trading on July 28, 1997, until the opening of the afternoon session on July 29, 1997, pending a major financial announcement of material importance, scheduled for 1 p.m. (Bermuda time) on July 29, 1997.
TeleBermuda is making this request to ensure the announcement is made in a manner which is entirely fair and transparent to all investors everywhere, taking into account the necessity for the Company to issue the aforementioned announcement from a number of different points in different countries and time-zones.
