Hamilton, Bermuda: 23 June, 2000 - In a move intended to add to its intermediary capabilities and ensure more rapid distribution of its payment system in the m-commerce market, EarthPort has agreed in principle the terms of a non-exclusive strategic alliance with Ztango.com, Inc., a supplier of mobile data solutions.
Under the proposed arrangement, Ztango and EarthPort intend to enable an extended range of wireless devices to make and accept payments using the Earthport payment system, and each company will market each other's m-commerce solutions to customers and potential customers.
