Hamilton, Bermuda: 16 October, 2001- Global Crossing Ltd. has advised the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) that Mr. John Legere has taken over the position of Chief Executive Officer from Mr. Thomas J. Casey. Mr. Casey will remain with the Company as Vice Chairman of the Board and Mr. Legere has been appointed to the Board of Directors, effective 3 October, 2001.
