Hamilton, Bermuda: 19 July, 2000 - Nokia Networks OY and EarthPort.com plc have agreed to co-operate in the worldwide marketing of EarthPort's payment system to significant Nokia customers during the next two years.
The agreement forms part of EarthPort's strategy to ensure more rapid distribution of EarthPort's payment system via the m-commerce market.
EarthPort participates in the Nokia Artus Developers Program, which Nokia has aimed at application developers, content providers, content packagers and system integrators who are developing mobile value added services, and are interested in working with Nokia Operator customers, as well as optimizing their services for Nokia products and technologies. The program supports the development of Wireless Application Protocol, Smart Messaging, and Computer Interface to Message Distribution (CIMD).
